Right Now, we are a group of young people who are blocking entrances to the swedish parliament at the Liekstard to protest against the ongoing destruction of our life supporting systems and of people already being killed as a result of the climate cris.
And that needs to come to an end.We have had enough.The climate justice movement has for decades trying many different methods to get their message across.But we have been only met with deaf ears and politicians giving us pats on the back saying that we are doing a great job, but they have not been acting.
We are still moving in the wrong direction, the emissions are still increasing and we are still expanding into the last healthy ecosystems.So therefore we feel like we have no other choice but to try new, different methods in order to get our voices heard.
I'm here to support the young people who've come to take a stand against the destruction of the environment.The science is clear.I'm here with my scientist colleagues.The science clearly shows that our civilizations are on the way to collapse if we don't change our direction, and that the politicians are betraying the ordinary people by failing to take the action that is needed to prevent our civilizations from potential collapse
We are staying here for now.The fight continues.News for as long as it takes.We are not going to give up.This is only the beginning.The climate cris is only going to get worse.And so it is all our responsibilities.All of those who have an opportunity to act must do so.We encourage everyone who can to join us and to join the climate justice movement.
